Walt Nichol, 81, of Knoxville, died of a heart attack Thursday March 23, 1995 at Knoxville Area Community Hospital. Services were held Monday, March 27th at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville. Burial was in McKeever Cemetery in Colfax.
Walter was born in Mountain Grove, Mo., and had lived in the Collins area before moving to Knoxville in 1961. He was a retired farmer and school bus driver.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys; three sons, Jerry, Walter D., and Jim, all of Knoxville; two sisters, Verbarene Dodd of Baxter and Irene Bartholomew of Davenport; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
