Clifford Donaldson Services Held Aug. 5
Funeral services for Clifford Dale Donaldson, 84, a longtime resident of Colfax, were held Monday, August 5, at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. Jerry Harris, pastor of First Baptist Church in Colfax, conducted services.
Burial was in McKeever Cemetery north of Colfax.
Walter Williams was the soloist, and Pat Evans was the organist.
Casket bearers were Ronald Pierce, Randy Pierce, Jerry Nichol, Jim Nichol, Walter Dale Nichol, and Robert McKeever.
In charge of flowers were JoAnn Pierce and Opal Trinkel.
Mr. Donaldson died Friday, Aug. 2, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
Survivors are his wife, Dorothy; and two sisters, Frances (Mrs. Perry) Miller of Mingo and Gladys (Mrs. Walter) Nichol of Knoxville.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Phay.
Mr. Donaldson worked at the Automatic Washer Co. in Newton, at the Dowden Manufacturing Co. in Prairie City, and was employed by the Jasper County ASCS.
The son of David and Jennie Phay Donaldson, he was born Nov. 24, 1906 in Baxter.
He was married to Dorothy Marie McKeever Oct. 23, 1926, in Newton.
Mr. Donaldson was a veteran of World War II.
