Donald Allen Price, 89, of Fleur Heights Care Center in Des Moines died of a heart ailment Tuesday, March 26, at the center. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, with burial at Ashton Cemetery near Baxter.
Mr. Price was born in Ira. He was a Baxter High school graduate with the class of 1925, and lived in Des Moines several years. He was a retired radio technician and had been a volunteer at Iowa Lutheran Hospital until 1980.
Survivors include his wife, Maurine; a daughter, Donna Johnson of McKinneyville, California; a step-daughter, Diane Collins of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and a grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
