Jack Schermerhorn Former Resident Died in California
Jack W. Schermerhorn, former long-time Colfax resident, died October 2, 1988, in Venice, Calif.
Services were held Wednesday, Oct. 5th, under the auspices of triangle Lodge #548 A.F. and A.M. at Pierce Brothers Moeller-Murphy Chapel in Santa Monica, Calif.
He is survived by his wife, Harriet, two sons, Gary J. and Alan W., both of Los Angeles; a sister, Phyllis MacDonald of Sunland, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Sheri and Brian.

Jack Schermerhorn Died in California
Jack Schermerhorn of Venice, Calif. died at his home Sunday, October 2nd. Jack was a former Colfax resident and a 1940 graduate of Colfax High School.
Services were held at the Venice United Methodist Church on Wednesday, Oct. 5th. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Santa Monica, Calif.
Survivors include his wife, Harriette, and two sons, Gary and Alan.
Jack was a retired meat cutter.
Everett Wilson of Colfax is a cousin.
