Services Held For Robert Schermerhorn
Funeral services were held in Santa Monica, Calif. for Robert Lee Schermerhorn, a Venice, Calif. resident of 40 years.
He was born on Sept. 28, 1927, in Newton and is a former Colfax resident, graduating from Colfax High School in 1945. He died Friday Feb. 26, 1989 in Culver City, Calif.
He is survived by his wife, Harryot; a son, Kevin; sister, Phyllis MacDonald of Sunland; mother-in-law, Mrs. V. William Best of Venice, Calif.; sister-in-law, Harriet Schermerhorn, also of Venice; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services were held in The Little Chapel of The Dawn at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Mortuary.
