Mingo News Items – Word was received by friends of the death of Al Reese at Marshalltown.

Funeral Held
A number from here went to Marshalltown last Thursday morning, where they attended funeral services for the late Adalaska Rees, whose death was noted in the last issue of The Baxter New Era. Services were held at the Wilbur Mortuary at 11:00 o’clock in charge of Canton R. Howard Taylor and auxiliary.
Following these services the body was taken by automobile to Mingo, his former home, where interment was made in the Greencastle cemetery, the services at the grave being in charge of the I.O.O.F. of Colfax. Guy Lane was among the relatives present.
