John Young Died This MorningFormer Newton Man passed away at the home of his daughter near Kellogg. Was very well known among people here. No arrangements made for the funeral as yet: Will Probably be sometime next Sunday.
John Young passed away about seven o'clock this morning. The body will be brought to Newton for burial and while no arrangements have been made for the funeral. It is probable that it will be held sometime Sunday.
His death occurred at the home of his daughter Mrs. Fred Janeway, who lives on a farm near Kellogg, where he had been living for the past few months.
He had been in very poor health since early in the fall, and had been partically helpless because of spinal paralysis.
Mr. Young was very well known in this vicinity, for he spent most of his life in Newton, altho he had been gone several years. He was a plastier, and worked on many buildings here and in the surrounding country. For the past few years he has made his home in Marshalltown.
He leaves a family of six children three girls and three boys. Besides these there is one sister, Mrs. D. F. Drew of this city and four brothers, Will, Fred and David of this city, and Rev. Frank Young of LaBelle, Missouri.
