Wilson, Lee

On Saturday, Nov. 23rd, 1878, Lee Wilson, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James Wilson, aged 22 years 7 months and five days.

The deceased was a very exemplary young man. He was born in Knox County, Illinois, but his father removed with him to this city when quite young and he grew up to manhood among us and by his conduct and character won the esteem of all who knew him.

The parents and sisters who are bereaved by his early death will have the sympathy of the entire community for Lee’s pleasant face and kind words will be missed by all. ~ Prairie City News 29 Nov 1878
