Funeral Services To Be Held Today From Cutter-Hartnett-Bumgardner Chapel at 2:00 p. m.

Mrs. Anna Wenes, 77, died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. E. Good at Council Bluffs. She had been bedfast the past year and left Colfax in September for Council Bluffs to be nearer her daughter.

She was born August 8th, 1869 and had been a resident of Colfax in earlier life and the later years of her life since 1934.

She is survived by her husband, Martin Wenes of Council Bluffs, a foster son, Martin Wenes, Jr., two daughters, Mrs. D. E. Good of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Carroll Reinike of Des Moines and two sons Tom Shanahan and Jim Shannahan both of Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, today, at 2 p. m. at the Cutter- Hartnett-Bumgardner Chapel with Rev. A. A. Burr, of Des Moines officiating. Interment will be in the Colfax Cemetery.
