Dr. E. M. Waterbury died at his home at Adel last Saturday. He was formerly a dentist at Monroe and Prairie City, but had recently moved to Adel.

He was a charter member of Russell division No. 26, U. R. K. of P. of this place.

The preliminary funeral services were held at Adel Monday afternoon, after which the body was taken to Syracuse, New York, for burial. Captain S. M. Robison of this city attended the funeral. ~ The Newton Record, Friday, March 15, 1895, Page 7, Column 2
