Harry Van Vark, Lynnville, Dies Suddenly Monday
Harry Van Vark
Lynnville (Special) Harry Van Vark, 62, died suddenly Monday afternoon while assisting with carpenter work at the John Eysink home southeast of here. He was working with Bill Vander Camp at the time.
Van Vark had moved to the Lynnville area only a month ago. He had resided northeast of Grinnell for the past 19 years.
Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) from a Pella funeral home with the Rev. Mr. DeJong officiating. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery near Pella.
The son of John H. and Mary Van Gorp Van Vark, he was born near Pella on Dec. 9, 1900. On Feb. 14, 1924, he was united in marriage with Sarah Stam.
Survivors include his widow, father, five brothers, and three sisters.
