Former Newton Resident Dies;
Mrs. Fannie Pardoe Lived Here 16 Years ago;
Funeral Services HereRebecca Frances (Fannie) PARDOE
Mrs. Fannie Pardoe, a former well-known resident of Newton, died at 1:30 this morning at her home in Des Moines. The body will be brought to Newton on the noon train Monday and funeral services will be held here. Definite announcements of the time and place of the rites have not been made awaiting word from relatives.
Mrs. Pardoe left Newton 16 years ago to make her home in Des Moines. She has many friends and acquaintances in Newton, She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.
Surviving her are her three sons, George Pardoe, of Fargo, N. Dak, Frank Pardoe of Seattle, Washington and Harry Pardoe of Los Angeles, Caif. One daughter, Mrs. Allie Gillespie of Des Moines, also survives.
