Suddenly Summoned

Owens, Jacob

Died at his home south of town after a very brief illness, Mr. Jacob Owens. Deceased was born August 26, 1848, died February 4, 1899. Mr. Owens is an old resident here; he was married to Miss Emma Devlin Dec. 26, 1868. Three children were born to this home, two died in infancy and one son survives the father who is married and lives in Pleasant Hill. The funeral services were held Monday conducted by Rev. Nolte.
