Meyers, Belle

Died: - Mrs. R. W. Meyers at her home in this city, Sunday evening, Sept. 16, 1894, of consumption.

Belle Kaiser was born in Bureau County, Ill., May 17, 1857, and came to this county with her parents a few years later and has made this her home ever since. She was married to R. W. Meyers, Jan. 1, 1884, and to them four children have been born, who with their father are left to mourn the loss of a kind and loving wife and mother.

Mrs. Meyers has been sick for some time past, but of late some hopes were entertained for her complete recovery, but on her return home a few weeks ago from a visit with relatives at Walnut, Iowa, she was taken worse, which finally ended in her death. Her mother and brother Will and sister Carrie were present at her death and her father arrived a few hours later.

The funeral services were held Tuesday in the Christian Church, conducted by Rev. Aylesworth, after which the remains were laid in our beautiful cemetery.
