Baxter, Ia. - Funeral services for Will Maggard, 62, who died recently after suffering a stroke at his home near Spooner, Wis., were held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Boyd Funeral home, with burial in the Union Chapel cemetery.

Mr. Maggard lived on a farm in the vicinity of Ira and Baxter many years ago before moving to Wisconsin. The body was brought here by his widow and one daughter.

Survivors are the widow and three daughters, a sister, Mrs. Rollie Marks of Adel, and two brothers, Henry of Baxter and Charley of Colfax.
