Death of Nate Lee
Lee, NateNate Lee, one of the best known and highly esteemed citizens of the west part of Jasper County, died at his home last Sunday morning and was buried Tuesday afternoon, the funeral being held at the M. E. Church of Mitchellville, at 2:00 o’clock. Nate Lee was one of God’s noblemen; kind-hearted, liberal, generous almost to a fault, genial with everybody and withal a Christian in the truest sense. He will be missed by the entire community, nowhere more than in the little M. E. Church at Mitchellville, of which he was one of the mainstays. He had been sick for about three months with typhoid fever. A wife and several children are left to mourn the loss of a good husband and father and the entire community is in sorrow over the death of one so universally loved.
