Lee, GeorgeGeorge Lee, who had been making his home with the family of David Pryor, west of Newton, for about three years, died last Friday after a long illness from dropsy. Mr. Lee was sixty-three years of age, and a native of Ohio. He had an honorable record as a soldier in the Civil War, and as a Christian warrior, his service began in early life having been a member of the M. E. Church from his youth. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Pryor in whose home the last years of his life were spent, and where he was tenderly cared for, in his long illness.
