Mrs. Harland Odell (Carol "Billie") Lee, 43, of New Castle, Indiana, a former area resident, died Tuesday at New Castle.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time, but services will be held locally later in the week with burial in Prairie View cemetery, Gilman. Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home.

The daughter of Glen S. and Bertha Cook May, Sr., of Gilman, she was born at the family home between Newburg and Gilman. She was one of a family of eight children. Following her education, she was united in marriage with Harlan Odell Lee. For about the last 20 years they had lived in New Castle, Ind.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Lee is survived by her six brothers and sisters: Mrs. Kenneth Sutten of Newburg; Roy May of Idaho; Glen Lee May, Jr., of Gilman; Mrs. Alden Briggs of Columbia, S.C.; Mrs. Roger Mason of Marshalltown; and Dean May of Marshalltown.
