King, Nancy (Chubb)

Nancy Chubb was born near Harrisburg, Pa., Dec. 28, 1831, and came to Brighton, Iowa, with her parents at the age of 3 years. Was married to Samuel King, Dec. 13, 1855. Moved to Jasper County in 1858 and settled near Galesburg. She united with the Evangelical Church and was a consistent member until her death, which occurred April 23, 1899, at the age of 67 years, 3 months and 25 days. She leaves her husband and seven children, four boys, John, Charles and Fred of Colorado, and Irvin of Pocahontas County, Iowa, and three girls, Mrs. Ed. Schnut and Mrs. John Lotz of Pocahontas County, Iowa, and Mrs. D. J. Loveridge of Galesburg.
