COLFAX -- Anna Kec, 97, a longtime resident of Colfax, died Thursday, Nov. 16, at the Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Services will not be held.

Friends may call at Walters-Coburn Home in Colfax. Visitation with the family will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Cremation will follow visitation.

Survivors are a daughter, Ann Pink of Newton; two grandchildren, a step-grandchild; and two great-grand-children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, and two infant daughters.

Mrs. Kec, a member of the Colfax Immaculate Conception Catholic Church had been employed by Newton Manufacturing Co. and Vernon Co. of Newton.

The daughter of Vaslav and Marie Fillip Vykuka, she was born March 28, 1892 in Vodolka, Czechoslovakia.

She was married to Frank Kec July 28, 1919 in Prague, Czechoslovakia.

Mrs. Kec moved to Colfax Oct. 20, 1919.
