Jay, Eli Way

Eli Jay passed away Tuesday morning at the home of his son, Charles Jay, of Grinnell. Eli Jay had been with his son for a few weeks.

A short funeral service was held at the home at 12 o'clock Thursday. The funeral party left Grinnell at 1 o'clock. reaching Lynnville at two and services were held at the Woodland Cemetery.

Eli Jay was one of the early settlers of this community.
