Ex-Resident Dies
Helphrey, Ellen (O'Neal)

Mrs. Earl (Ellen O'Neal) Helphrey, 93, of Fargo, N.D., a former longtime resident of Newton, died Monday at Fargo.

Funeral services are pending at the Reese Funeral Home in Newton. Mrs. Helphrey had been a long time employee of the Girls Training School at Mitchellville.
