HURDLAND, Mo. - - - Andrew J. Hanson, 86, of Hurdland, died Monday (July 5, 1993) in Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Born April 27, 1907, in Wisconsin, Mr. Hanson was a son of Carl L. and Rosey Post Hanson. He was reared and attended school in Wisconsin. For several years he was employed by a railroad in North Dakota, South Dakota and Iowa. He had been employed by several farmers in the Hurdland area.

Survivors include a son, Larry, address not listed; twin gandsons; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Nelson and Myron; and six sisters, Inga McGinty, Edith Breeden, Martina Scull, Nellie McConell, Beulah Crago and Edla Hanson.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Chapel in Edina by Brother Robert Shobe. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Hurdland.

Visitation will be held 2-9 p.m. Thursday with family meeting friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral chapel.
