Ernest Foreman Dies at Hospital; Rites Wednesday
Foreman, Ernest A.

Ernest A. Foreman, 84, of 412 E. Third St. N., a resident of the Newton community the majority of his life, died Sunday morning at the Iowa Luthern Hospital in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Morgan-Loehr Funeral Home.

The Rev. R. E. Johnson, minister of the United Presbyterian Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Wittemberg Cemetery.

Mr. Foreman is survived by his wife; Letta; a daughter, Mrs. Mozella Kuehn of Columbus, Mont., a step- daughter, Miss Helen Hatch of Newton; three grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. John Nelson.

The son of Zachary and Lorana Pyles Foreman, he was born Sept. 13, 1877 in Marshall County. He was married to Minnie Kennedy in 1901 and she died in 1932. He was married to Letta Hatch Sept. 2, 1936.

Educated in Baxter and Newton schools, he spent most of his life in the Newton area, returning to Newton after farming in South Dakota for 25 years.

He was an employe of the Automatic Co. for 17 years before his retirement.
