Mary Horswell, 86, Dies in Colfax; Rites Wednesday
Colfax – Miss Mary Ann Horswell, 86, a resident of the Colfax community since 1886, died Monday afternoon in the Gorman Nursing Home in Colfax.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Walters Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. Dale Nicholson, minister of the Colfax Methodist Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Sams Cemetery in Mingo.
Miss Horswell has no survivors.
Miss Horswell was a member of the Methodist Church.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Horswell, she was born April 24, 1876 in Yorkshire, England.
She came to the Oswalt-Colfax community in 1886, residing there since that time.
She was educated in Oswalt schools.
