DIED
Duncan, Tempie

On Friday morning, April 23rd, our little friend Tempie Duncan, oldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. A. B. Duncan crossed the River of death, never more to return to her friends here on earth. Her short life—thirteen brief years—had been full of pain and disease, but her death was easy and trustful.

She bade her friends and parents good bye with the expressed wish that they, when their turn would come to die, might follow her to the happy home above where sickness never enters and death is unknown. A large concourse of friends followed her remains to the M. E. Church, where appropriate services were held by Rev. H. M. Sexton of Des Moines, and thence to the Cemetery her last earthly resting place. Her parents and sister have the cordial sympathy of all in their sad bereavement.
