Funeral Services Held Wednesday for Dr. Donald Dow
Donald V. DowFuneral services were held Wednesday from the First Congregational church for Dr. Donald V. Dow, 67, longtime Grinnell dentist who died suddenly at his home Sunday.
Officiating at the services was the Rev. Robert D. Dewey, pastor. Organ music was provided by Norman Goodbrod. Pallbearers were Eldon Olds, Orrie Haag, Edward Speth, Raymond Norris, Charles Maring and Harold Harris.
Interment was in Hazelwood cemetery with Masonic graveside services conducted by members of Hermon Lodge No. 273, AF & AM. Dr. Dow is survived by his widow, Gladys; one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Donna) Wallis of Denver, Colo.; and four grandchildren, Linda Kay; Richard, Robert and Roger Wallis, all of Denver.
He was preceded in death by his son Harold on June 23, 1944.
