Claud De Reus Dies Tuesday; Services Friday
Claud De ReusValeria -- Claud De Reus, 85, of Embassy Manor in Newton, a resident of Valeria 57 years and former resident of Colfax, died Tuesday at Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax
The Rev. Sean Santos of the Inter-Faith Center in Colfax will conduct the services. Burial will be in the McKeever Cemetery, north of Colfax
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Beulah) Gerhart of Mingo; five grandchildren; twelve gret-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Ruggless of Prairie City and Mrs. Gladys Riley of Minneapolis, Minn
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Dwight; three brothers; two sisters; and two great-grandchildren
The son of Peter and Ella Paulson De Reus, he was born Nov. 28, 1889 at Colfax.
