OBITUARY of FLEMING CREED
Creed, Fleming

Fleming Creed was born in Morgan County, Illinois on September 10, 1836. He was married to Miss Jane Holmes in September, 1858. To this union were born one son Elias and one daughter, Mary. The family moved to Lynn Grove Township in September, 1864. Most of his life was spent on his farm south of Lynnville. Five years ago he moved to Lynnville, where he spent his remaining days in retirement till the last affliction which took his life December 25, 1912. He leaves a wife and daughter, one grandson Frank, and great-grandson, Luverne, two sisters and five brothers, one sister and one brother living to mourn their loss.
