Robert Gilliam, Former Newton Rector, Dies
Colleyville, Tex. – The Rev. Robert R. Gilliam, 55, of Colleyville, Tex., rector of St. Stephen’s Episcopal church in Newton from 1960 through 1966, died recently in Colleyville.
Memorial contributions to the Robert R. Gilliam Memorial Fund will be accepted. Memorials may be sent to Mrs. Gilliam, 4106 Greenway Court, Colleyville, Tex. 76034.
Survivors are his wife, Coke, and three children, Steve, Robin and Laura.
The Rev. Gilliam, who was in real estate, was a part-time church worker.
The Rev. Gilliam had been rector at St. Luke Episcopal Church in Cedar Falls after leaving Newton.
