Cavender, John

Reasnor - John C. Cavender, one of our old neighbors, passed from this world to a better one. He was highly respected in this community and had been a member of the M. E. Church for many years. He has been living with his son-in-law, Abraham Rexroat, on D. L. Clark's farm, near the water tank. He was buried Friday in Wild Cat Grove (Palo Alto) Cemetery.

Note: Tombstone says he died in 1896, but the newspaper date is correct, so date on tombstone is probably a year off.
