Tipton Infant Dies at Hospital
Judith Leah Tipton, two-week-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert E. Tipton, of 1005 N. Ninth Ave. E., died at 4:35 p.m. Friday at the Skiff Memorial Hospital.
The child was one of twins born prematurely Nov. 25, 1961 at the Skiff Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Monday at Toland Funeral Home.
The Rev. Lawrence Athey, associate minister of the First Methodist Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Milan, Mo.
Arrangements have not been completed.
The child is survived by her parents, three sisters, Mrs. David (Bertha Mae) Deaton of Mingo, Debra Kay Tipton of Newton and its twin, Joyce Lynn Tipton; a brother, Steven Arthur Tipton of Newton; and grandparents, Cecil Tipton of Milan, Mo., Mrs. Olie Weter of Newton and Mr. and Mrs. Ora Chapman of Milan, Mo.
