Isaac Heifner Dead
A man, who for about twenty-five years lived in Sherman Township died last Thursday, October 5th. It was Isaac Heifner. For the past few years he has lived with his son, A. M. Heifner, in Jericho, Missouri, where he died and was buried.
His first wife died in Sherman Township about twenty years ago. He leaves three daughters and all live in Jasper County, and they are Mrs. Silas Beals and Mrs. Sam Cross, of Ira, and Mrs. Lottie Beals of Newton. His sons are A. M. who lives in Jericho; Wesley, of Des Moines; and Uriah ad William, of Adair County.
(His wife Mary is buried at Union Chapel cemetery near Ira.)
