A Masonic Funeral

Eighteen members of the Masonic Lodge here went to Mingo Sunday to attend the funeral of their brother, Parker Boyd, who died Friday after a long illness at his home in Clear Creek Township. The pretty Mingo Church edifice was crowded with the friends and relatives of the deceased and the funeral service was solemn and impressive. The sermon was preached by Rev. English of Colfax, the Masons having charge of the service at the grave.

Members of the lodge who went were: O. N. Wagley, J. Y. Bailey, Frank Winn, J. T. Pound, C. F. Morgan, Harry Morris, J. G. Brunner, Tom Hurt, D. R. Tripp, L. A. Andrew, Frank Wilson, Robt. Miller, Chas. Westbrook, J. W. Loyer, Burr Westbrook, J. F. Baker, Howard Witmer and E. C. Meredith.
