Death of Former Resident

Mrs. Veryl (Alma Bruce Kline) Book, 67, died Thursday, July 13, at Las Vegas, Nevada.

Funeral services were held Monday at Las Vegas. Burial was in the Woodland Cemetery in that city.

Surivors are her husband, one son, Herbert Kline and daughter-in-law Pat and three grandchildren; two brothers Lee and Ralph Bruce of Des Moines and five sisters, Mrs. Mary Polka, Mrs. Ruth Carey, and Mrs. Mable Greer all of Des Moines; Mrs. Jeanne Tharp of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Muriel Bell of Colfax.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and her first husband Herbert Kline Sr.

The daughter of Ira and Hilda Bruce, she was born in Grinnell, she had lived most of her life in Colfax before moving to Las Vegas ten years ago.
