PELLA -- Elmer Slykhuis, 81, of Pella died Wednesday, July 14, in Pella.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Heartland Reformed Church in Pella. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Pella. Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Pella is handling arrangements.

Friends may call Saturday after 9 a.m. and Sunday after noon at the funeral home. The family will be available from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Memorials will be accepted to Heartland Reformed Church or Hospice of Pella. ~ Newton (IA) Daily News, Friday, July 16, 2004
