John Kent, a highly respected citizen of Richland township, died suddenly of heart disease on Monday evening, May 20th. The Kellogg Enterprise says that he had been at work in the field all day until between four and five o’clock when he complained of illness and was taken to the house by a neighbor, where he expired about an hour later. A large concourse of sympathizing friends attended the funeral at Bethel M. E. church.
