Hiram Henniger for 26 years a resident of Jasper Co. died at his home west of Valeria on Monday morning, at 12:15 o’clock; aged 56 years, 2 mos. and 24 days. His funeral was from the M. E. church in Valeria on Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Cozier of Colfax and it is estimated that 800 people attended – half that number also attending the burial at Green Mound (Sams) cemetery.
