MINGO -- Yola "Cap" (Richardson) Plummer, 77, formerly of Mingo, died Aug. 13 following complications of a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Christian Church located at 3620 72nd St. N.E. in Altoona. Burial will be at Canfield Cemetery in Ivy.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton Altoona Funeral Home, 105 Fourth St. S.W. in Altoona. Memorials may be made to Altoona Christian Church.

She was born Oct. 31, 1926, in Farrar. She graduated from Mingo High School in 1944. She lived in Altoona most of her life before moving to Pittsburg, Calif., in 2001 to live with her daughter and her family.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Paris and Vincent Granville of Pittsburg, Calif.; a granddaughter; and brother, Oden Richardson of Des Moines.
