Lester A. Pothoven, 86, formerly of Sully, died Saturday, Aug. 21, at Pella Regional Health Center -- Long Term Care Unit in Pella.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Sully Christian Reformed Church in Sully with the Rev. Jack Gray officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.

Friends may call today at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella where the family will be present from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. For those desiring, memorials may be given to Sully Christian Grade School. ~ Newton (IA) Daily News, Monday, August 23, 2004
