Bambi Linn Maston, 39, of Newton died Monday, Aug. 16, at her home.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton with Glen Oswalt of Newton officiating. The body will be cremated following services.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home where the family will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials will be accepted in her name and may be left at the funeral home.

The daughter of Keith Wood and Judy McCaughey, she was born March 29, 1965, in Newton. On Jan. 18, 1994, she married Michael E. Maston in Newton. She worked with autistic children at Progress Industries for six years and she worked in the factory for the Maytag Company for five years.

Survivors include two sons, Tim Reynolds and Zachary Maston, both of Newton; a step-son and daughter-in-law, Jarrod and Tricia Maston of Newton; her mother and adoptive father, Judy Nevitt and Steven Brown of Newton; her father and step-mother, Keith and Karen Wood of Galesburg; three brothers, Bob Hummel of Slater, Shannon Wood of Indianola and Monty Jackson of Novinger, Mo.; four sisters, Brandi Trotter of Newton, Keena Bean of Indianola, Stacy Freitas of Eugene, Ore., and Christy Brown of Santa Cruz, Calif.; her grandmother, Genevieve Wood of Newton; her grandfather, Bob McCaughey of Hemet, Calif.; and two aunts.
