Boy, 6, Dies of Meningitis
Dale Skinner Was Born at Greencastle in May 1930
CLEAR CREEK – A victim of spinal meningitis, Dale Skinner, 6, died at the Iowa sanitarium in Nevada Sunday night. He had been ill several weeks.
The youngster was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Skinner of Shipley and was born at Greencastle in May 1930.
Survivors beside the parents an older brother, Howard, an older sister, Dorothy, and grandmother, Mrs. Sue Parker, who lives north of Newton. A brother, Walter, died about eight years ago.
Funeral services will be held at the home Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. and graveside rites will be conducted at Ashton cemetery at 3 p.m.
The Rev. C. E. Lookingbill of Nevada will be in charge.
