KELLOGG – Funeral services for __Francis Slater, 76, of ___, former Kellogg resident were conducted today at 11 a.m. at the Madsen funeral home in Kellogg by the Rev. R. T. White, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church.
Interment was in the family lot in Our Silent City cemetery beside a son, who died a number of years ago.
Mr. Slater died Saturday at Cleveland, O., following a three-week illness of diabetes.
He formerly operated the Kellogg Brick and Tile works a number of years ago.
Relatives attending the rites were the wife, Mrs. Clara Birchard Slater, of Cleveland; a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Slater of Davenport, and an adopted daughter, Nona Slater of Omaha.
