Former Newton Resident Dies in Des Moines
Funeral services for R. W. Randel, former Newton resident who died Sunday in Des Moines, will be conducted from the Newton funeral home in Des Moines Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Canfield cemetery.
Mr. Randel is survived by his wife, Mrs. Minnie Randel; four children, Doll Caulkins and Mrs. Earl Riffel of Des Moines, Mrs. Dodge Weeks of Aurora, Ill., and Joe Caulkins of Peoria, Ill.; five grandchildren, Mrs. George Heiden and Glen Caulkins of Newton, Lloyd Caulkins of Peoria, Ill., and Raymond and Harry Weeks of Aurora, Ill. Four great grandchildren also survive.
