COLFAX -- Dwandine Hattery, 91, formerly of Colfax, died Tuesday, June 29, at the Iowa Lutheran Home in Perry.

Graveside memorial services will be held on Monday, July 12, at 11 a.m. at Greencastle Cemetery.

There will be no visitation. Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax is handling arrangements.

The daughter of Floyd and Effie (Fuller) Webster, she was born Oct. 24, 1912, in Greencastle. She married Ralph Hattery in 1934 and they farmed in the Colfax area for many years. She was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Hattery is survived by a brother, Donald Webster of Mingo, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Ralph Wayne; and two sisters, Marie Johnson and Letha Larkam. ~ Newton (IA) Daily News, Tuesday, July 6, 2004
