Infant Daughter Of Baxter Couple Dies In Iowa City
BAXTER – Delores Perin, 6-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Perin of West of Baxter, died Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the University hospital in Iowa City.
Born May 22, 1937, a few days before the tornado struck in the northwest part of the county, the baby had never been well since birth. She has been in a Des Moines hospital nearly two months when she was removed a week ago to the hospital in Iowa City.
The mother was Gladys McKeever before her marriage.
Besides her parents, the infant is survived by two young sisters, Phyllis and Vyrlee; the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Perin of west of Baxter; the maternal grandmother; Mrs. Sylvia McKeever of Mingo, a great grandmother, Mrs. Almira Perin of Baxter, and a great grandfather, Pete Neal of Mingo.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11:00 a.m. from the Boyd funeral home in Baxter.
