Former Jasper County Resident Dies In Nebraska
OAK RIDGE – William Patterson, 70, native Jasper county resident, died Tuesday night at Murray, Neb., and funeral services and burial will be held there Saturday afternoon.
Mr. Patterson was born in the Oak Ridge neighborhood northwest of Newton, the son of Mr. and Mrs. G. F. Patterson. He left Jasper county about 25 years ago.
Surviving relatives include six brothers, Alex and David of Weeping Water, Neb., Lee of What Cheer, Ia., and John, Tom and James, all of Newton, and two sisters, Mrs. Susan Tiffany of near Colfax and Mrs. A. Spencer of Weeping Water, Neb.
Tom, John and James Patterson, brothers, and Clyde Patterson, a nephew, will leave Saturday morning to attend the rites.
