Mrs. M’Garr Dies In Webster City
Newton Woman Dies While on Visit to Home of Daughter, Mrs. Boyd
Mrs. Elizabeth McGarr, 57, resident of Newton for many years, died Friday at 3:10 p.m. in a Webster City hospital following an illness of heart disease.
Mrs. McGarr had gone to Webster City three weeks ago to the home of her daughter, Mrs. L. R. Boyd, and was taken ill while there.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from the Congregational church in Baxter and interment will be in a Baxter cemetery.
Surviving relatives include her daughter, Mrs. Boyd,; a grandson, Billy Bailey Boyd; a sister, Mrs. Vera Bunse of Newton, and five brothers, William Bale, John T. Bale and Vernon Bale of Newton, Leo Bale of Baxter, and Maurice Bale.
