Otto H. Luther, Former Colfax Resident, Dies
COLFAX – Otto H. Luther of Des Moines, former Colfax business man and World War veteran, died at the United States Veterans hospital in Des Moines Friday, Jan. 29.
Mr. Luther, Des Moines grocer, formerly served as postal clerk in Colfax and later was in the grocery business here.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. from the E. Carl White funeral home, 2505 West Grand Avenue, Des Moines, Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Luther family lot at Hooper, Neb., Wednesday.
Surviving relatives include his widow, a son, David; a daughter, Viola; a step-daughter, Mrs. J. J. Dooley; four sisters and nine brothers.
