Infant Daughter of Melvin Hennons Dies After Birth
Greta Ann Hennon, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin A. Hennon, died Tuesday at 10:05 p.m. at the Skiff Memorial hospital, about four hours after birth.
The baby was born prematurely at the home east of Newton about 5:50 p.m. and was brought immediately to the local hospital.
Graveside rites will be conducted at the Center Friends cemetery Thursday morning, with the funeral party to leave the Morgan funeral home at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Guilford Street, Center Friends pastor, will be in charge.
Surviving relatives include the parents; a sister, Phyllis, 4; a brother, Mannio, 3, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hackney of north of Newton.
